Hi, I am Frances Sadler.
I feel so grateful to be a photographer in Fairhope, Alabama! I have loved being behind a camera since I was a little girl shooting pitcher plant flowers at The Weeks Bay Bog with my first point and click. In highschool, I spent hours in the darkroom of photography class printing photograph after photograph of my parent's wharf, trying to get the black and white contrast just right. Then in college, my friends joke I was always the one taking pictures on our nights out- it was scary to wake up the next morning and see "frances mosteller has tagged you in 26 pictures" as yes, I stayed up, plugged that camera in with a cord, and tagged them on facebook in the wee hours of the morning before I went to sleep. Needless to say, its always been something fun for me, but never THIS FUN! Now, and since 2017, I have gotten to do this for a living! My white portraits are my passion- my bread and butter. I hope to do them forever. I have since added in-color heirloom portraits to that investment and people love having the option of getting both. When I'm not shooting heirloom portraits, I make time for "lifestyle" sessions with full families, children running around, and capturing life in the moment, with my favorite shots usually down by Mobile Bay! Word on the street is true, I have steered away from "newborn photography", but call me when your baby can sit up :)
